Piggy Back Rides!

Dash has become the master at piggy back rides and the girls love it! You should hear them giggle as he runs around the house. It is quite cute. Both girls adore him and love to play with him. Can't wait to throw Bebo into the mix! :)

Falls

Look at the excitement on Spitfire's face about the water fall! See how fast her hand is moving. OK she is really not excited about the falls, she is tattling on Noah! LOL

We spent a couple hours at one of the local falls and a had such a great time. As you can see from the pictures our little Twink is now in school all day. She comes home very tired but is having a lot of fun at school. I'll update about her school later this week.

Here we are at the top of the falls looking down. It was such a beautiful day. We have a had a lot of rain and unseasonably cool weather the last month or so. We took advantage of this warmer day.

Spitfire has decided she wants to bring her bathing suit next time after a little boy showed up with his on. I had to pry her away as she was having fun wading through the water looking for rocks. Let me tell you the climb back up the "gorge" was something. This momma is out of shape! If I plan on climbing the Great Wall again I better start doing something, anything or I won't make it up. Poor Spitfire stopped and waited for me and asked if I was OK! Now that tells you something.

I'm off to go walking with the kids now! By the way, if you could keep Twink in your prayers we would appreciate it. She has to go in for her ears again. They have to clean all the wax out and possible put tubes in tomorrow. Thanks!

Backyard Fun

The children planned a picnic with the neighbors earlier this week. Sort of an end of the year picnic and a goodbye party. We have lived next door to them for the last 6 yrs. They move in two weeks. They will be moving directly behind us BUT there is quite a bit of woods between us.

As you can see Dash and Twink were missing from the "party". Twink was taking her nap and Dash is spending some time at my dads house. The kids had a lot of fun and had very full tummies!

This is Spitfire and her "boyfriend". She says she is going to marry him. His sister spent the night at our house the night before and he said the funniest thing. He said to me, "Maybe when Spitfire and I get bigger we can have a sleep over." Ummm, I don't think so buddy! LOL These two are so cute together from playing with babies to playing with wrestling action figures. Spitfire is going to be lost with out her best bud!

We've Been Busy

Last weekend we hit the ground running! I don't think we stopped all weekend. Saturday we worked outside on the yard and the garage. The Count re-mulched the trees and landscaping, mowed, trimmed around the house, and did our huge ditch out front. In doing the ditch he has to mow and trim the weeds. It is not fun because it is pretty steep.

I cleaned out the garage. Your probably saying to yourself shouldn't it be the other way around. Shouldn't Cheri be re-mulching. I would love to but because of my previous neck surgery that is out of the question. I must say I did a pretty good job cleaning. Next step is our shed! I'm going to leave that one up to The Count! LOL

We were not able to make it to church on Sunday. Just as we were about to leave Spitfire decided she wanted a drink. She took her little chair (TM, you know about those little chairs!) and went into the fridge. Took hold of two gallons of freshly made pink lemonade and realized it was too heavy. Unfortunately she spilled it all over the place. All over in and on the fridge, the floor and herself. Needless to say the fridge and the floor were cleaned on Sunday. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what happened! I just stood there and Spitfire looks up at me and said "Sorry Momma." I think I then yelled "HELLLPPP!!!" The poor little honey started to cry because we could not go to church. Lets just say I felt like crying too. I wanted to go to church and now had a big mess to clean up. Spitfire went out and played and The Count came down and saved the day! He's awesome people! He took everything out of the fridge and I cleaned it at the sink. Team work.

Monday we had the in-laws over for the day. It was a beautiful day out and we just relaxed. I was able to snap some pictures of the kids hanging out too. I'm trying to gather as many as I can so we can choose from a bunch to send to Bebo when the time comes. Hopefully that won't be long!

**Note to self, check the ISO before shooting outside! You'd think I'd learn!**

My Siblings

Wanna meet my brothers and sisters? Ok, I'm actually missing a picture of my little sister. I have one of her but she looks a bit silly in it!

This is the oldest of my "little" sisters. She is 7+ months pregnant with her first baby. She had two baby showers this past weekend and is gearing up for her last weeks of pregnancy.

This is a picture of the three "older" siblings. Me, my little brother, and my little sister. Who really is the littlest? LOL I have to stand on my tip toes just to get in the picture with the two of them!
This is my middle little brother. There is 18 years between the two of us! I was a senior in high school when he was born. In a couple of years he will be a senior in high school.
This is my littlest brother. He has a twin sister (whose picture I don't have). They are only a year and a half older than Jewel!

Anyone else have a huge age gap with their brothers and sisters?
