Meme
Oh, I've been tagged by my friend Denise, over at Love Keeps Growing More Love so here I am playing along! :)
*For those of you who are not bloggers, you probably don't "get" this, but it helps us all get to know one another.
Favorite person (outside of family): You know who you are, I don't have to tell you!Favorite food? Pizza...but I also love chocolate and ice cream!
Quirks about you? I take medicine for migraines and sometimes it makes me lose words or mix them up. Example - The tree slammed into the car. Happens a lot and my loving DH has learned to turn the words around. LOL
How would the person who loves you the most describe you in ten words or less? Well he's at work right now, I'll have to ask him when he returns home.
Any regrets in life? Yes
Favorite charity or cause? We sponsor a child through Half the Sky and I hope to go on a missions trip next year.
Favorite blog recently? Bring the Rain , Hopes Song , Our Little Tongginator , If Only I had Super Powers
Something you cannot get enough of? Warm weather these days!
Worst job you ever had? Babysitting other people's children EVERYDAY. You can't go anywhere unless you want to tote your own children plus X amount of children your watching, No thank you. I'll do it once in awhile but not everyday.
What job would you pay NOT to have? A math teacher! I don't like math or should I say it does not like me!
If you could be a fly on the wall, where? In China at Twinks foster parents house when they receive the letter and pictures from us.
Favorite Bible verse right now? 1 Chron. 5:20
Guilty pleasure? Pepsi! Don't laugh, I can milk a 20 oz Pepsi all day long. (I try to allow myself only one a day)
Got any confessions? Yes, there is a little boy on our agencies waiting child list that I love! I pray that he finds a family before his file is sent back.
If you had to spend $1000 on yourself, how would you spend it? I'd probably buy some clothes.
Favorite thing about your house? The custom built closets my husband and my FIL did. Also my 5 favorite people live right here with me.
Least favorite thing about your house? The tile on my kitchen floor! Too hard, too cold, too dark, and done very poorly!
One thing you are bad at? Keeping up on laundry and returning e-mails. Oh and I'm not good if one of my children losses consciousness! (I loose it)
One thing you are good at? Well, I must admit I am pretty good at medical issues. (unless it's my child and it serious )
If you could change one thing about your circumstances, what? A new job for my hubby in a WARMER state!
Who would you like to meet someday?Twink's birth parents
What makes you feel sexy? I'm with Denise on this also...when I am at my goal weight!
Who is your real life hero? My husband and all of his hard work, our troop and all that they do for our country and people who homeschool their children.
What is the hardest part of your job? I'm with Kim and Denise on this one...meeting each of my children's needs, playing referee and having energy left over for anything else.
When are you most relaxed? At the end of the day when the house is quite and everyone is tucked into their beds for the night.
What stresses you out? When I am running late or the kids are fighting with each other.
What can you not live without? The love and forgiveness of Jesus.
Do you agree with the recent article that blogs are authored by narcissists? Nope We started our blog to record our adoption journey and then to update our family and friends of all the medical findings on Twink. Now we also have included it as a family blog not just Twink. I've made some great friends blogging.
Why do you blog? See above.
Who are you tagging?New/newer bloggers-Erica and Cristy Bloggy friends-CarlaBand Jonni Bloggers you'd like to get to know better- CarlaL and Carla Bloggers who you don't think will respond but you hope will- Like Denise, I am actually changing this to "Bloggers who I REALLY hope will do this because I love them"(and I know how busy they are)---Ceci and Stacy. Rules:1. Answer the questions.2. Link back to who tagged you.3. Tag 8 bloggers in the above categories to do the same.
